This an example of a surface water treatment system deployed at a winery. The setup includes sand filters, water softeners, a calcite system to add alkalinity to the water, ultrafiltration, a point-of-feed 0.2-micron compliance filter, chlorine storage and disinfection, and numerous analyzers and meters. Heritage Systems manages the design, build, and operation.
The panel houses equipment for monitoring the health of wastewater ponds. At the heart of the system is a PLC-based control, which responds to real-time feedback from a sensor located in the pond, to regulate the dissolved oxygen levels in the pond by turning on aerators.
Heritage Systems designs, builds, and field-deploys this platform. There are no up-front capital costs incurred by our clients. Included are controllers that receive input from remotely installed sensors. These controllers communication to a PLC with custom programming that allows real-time control of the clients processes. All data is collected, stored, and transmitted wirelessly to our HSI CLOUD, where clients can access their systems from any location that has an internet connection.
